To avoid damage, please pay particular attention to our information sheet on the proper use of magnetic foil:
Fastening
- Before placing the magnetic foil, the contact surface must be absolutely dry, clean and dust-free
- Hold the magnetic foil above the selected surface and then lower it, do not push it (avoid scratches)
- Do not attach to decorative strips and sharp profile edges.
- Never apply the magnetic foils to freshly painted or polished surfaces
- ATTENTION: With metallic paintwork and new paintwork, both the magnetic foils and the contact surfaces must be cleaned daily and kept dry!
Care
- Only clean with mild cleaning agents; under no circumstances should you clean with solvents or liquids containing solvents. Depending on the outside temperature, cleaning should be carried out at least three times a week, every two days in winter and mid-summer.
- Magnetic foils must be removed before each wash cycle (manually or in the car wash).
Generally
- The magnetic foils are protectively sealed on the magnetic side. In summer and different temperatures as well as when the signs on the car body are used constantly for several days, condensation occurs between them. Here, under certain circumstances, sticking with the car paint can occur. To avoid such dangers, magnetic sheets should be removed overnight or when not in use. The magnetic foil should be removed and put back on at least once during the day.
